Netflix Alternative.
Why it isn't cost-efficient subscribing and watching Netflix during the Lockdown.
In this period of boredom, and desire to find anything interesting to do or watch, I'm writing this as alternative tips to save you cost on your spending since we don't know how long this would go on.
Netflix is an amazing company, uploading amazing content and all, but for a country like Nigeria, where data plan is luxury, even tho I sell affordable data plan, it's still luxury, spending heavily on data watching Netflix isn't a right move for now.
Meanwhile, this write up is not for the over well to do, but the average Nigerian seeking an avenue to get busy.
Netflix Subscription ranges between #2900 - #4600.
Each package has limitations except for the #4600 package.
This only gives you ACCESS to the movies, but if you don't have data, you can't watch even with your Access

My Experience;
I Subscribed to Glo 5gb plan and I had rollover, totaling 6gb thereabout, I saw about 9 episodes of a movie I was interested in, and saw 2 other and there came the beep of low data.
An average movie on Netflix when downloaded is about 300 - 400 MB, rare cases you will see 200mb (only if you are downloading Episodes).
This increases your data consumption and also eats into your pocket.
What I propose, for the time being, understanding that Netflix would eat a chunk of your savings before this isolation is over…
Try thenetnaija or 02tvseries or any other sites that allows you to download.
I prefer NetNaija, the video quality is HD.
I Subscribed 2.5gb and downloaded 9 movies , currently having a data balance of 756 MB.
To have access to these movies, it's free.
You can get 3gb from me at #1200, Chat me up and download as much you can and enjoy your isolation.
When things are back on track, you can Subscribe to Netflix and spend as you truly want.
I hope this helps.
